Website accessibility law in Belgium

Belgium put the European Accessibility Act into law through several instruments, because accessibility powers are split between the federal state, regions and communities. The rules apply from 28 June 2025.

Moderate exposure for private websites. Belgium wrote the EAA into several federal and regional laws. Complaints must be investigated within 30 days.
