Badge Terms
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply, on top of the Terms of Service, when you turn on the public record and show the Monitored by Jralo badge.
1. What the badge says
The badge reads "Monitored by Jralo" with the date of the latest check and, only when the latest automated check found none, "no critical issues found". Those are facts produced by our automated checks. The badge is not a certificate. It does not say or imply that a site meets the ADA, WCAG, the European Accessibility Act or any other law or standard.
2. When it shows
- Only for a site on a paid plan (Site or Business).
- Only after you turn on "Publish this site's record" for that site in the dashboard. It is off by default.
- Only while the site has been checked in the last 48 hours.
3. When it stops
The badge stops showing by itself when you turn the public record off, when your plan ends, or when the site has not been checked for 48 hours. When a check finds a critical issue, the "no critical issues found" words are dropped until a later check finds none.
4. What is public
The badge links to the site's public record at jralo.com/monitored/<your site>. That page shows when Jralo first and last checked the site, how many checks ran in the last 30 days, and that a tamper-evident, independently timestamped record of those checks is kept. It never shows the problems found, scores or screenshots.
5. Your obligations
- Use only the embed code from your dashboard, which loads the live badge. Do not copy, alter or re-host it, or shrink it so the words cannot be read.
- Do not describe the badge as a certification, an approval or protection from legal claims.
- Keep a way for visitors to report an accessibility barrier on your site, and answer those reports in good faith.
6. Our rights
We may switch a badge off at any time for breach of these terms, misuse, unpaid fees, or if we believe showing it could mislead.
7. No reliance
Visitors, buyers and other third parties may not rely on the badge as evidence that a site meets any law, and we accept no liability to them. The badge does not prevent any complaint or claim.
